SCHEZWAN SAUCE | SCHEZWAN SAUCE RECIPE |

PREPARATION TIME: 35 MINUTES
COOKING TIME: 20 MINUTES
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
1. DRY RED CHILLIES- 100 GRAMS
2. OIL- 1/4 CUP
3. FINELY CHOPPED GINGER- 1/4 CUP
4. FINELY CHOPPED GARLICS- 1/4 CUP
5. TOMATO SAUCE- 1 TSP
6. SOYA SAUCE- 1 TSP
7. SUGAR- 1 TSP
8. SALT- 1 TSP
PROCEDURE:
STEP 1:
1. Soak 100 grams of dry red chillies in a bowl for 30 minutes.
STEP 2:
1. Transfer soaked red chillies into a mixing jar, grind the chillies with 2 tsp of water into a fine paste.
STEP 3:
1. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped ginger and garlic, Saute it for 2 minutes. Then add grounded red chilli paste and saute it for few more minutes.
STEP 4:
1. Add soya sauce, tomato sauce, sugar and salt and saute it for 2 minutes.
STEP 5:
1. Bring this to a boil and oil should have separated (cook appx 15 minutes). Switch off the flame and let it cool. Transfer to an airtight container, store in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
