INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
1. Diced bhindi/ okra/ ladies finger- 2 cups
2. Oil- 2 tsp
3. Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
4. Hing pinch
5. Chopped onions- 1 cup
6. Chopped green chillies- 1 tsp
7. Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
8. Chopped tomatoes- 1 cup
9. Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
10. Salt- 1 tsp
11. Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
12. Coriander powder- 1 tsp
13. Garam masala- 1 tsp
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Take 2 cups of bhindi in a hot pan. Saute it for 5 minutes.
2. Remove it to a bowl and keep it aside.
3. Heat 2 tsp of oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and hing and saute it for few seconds.
4. Add chopped onions and green chillies. Saute it until onion becomes translucent.
5. Add chopped tomatoes and ginger garlic paste. Saute and cook until tomatoes become mushy.
6. Also add a tsp of red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, pinch of turmeric powder and salt as per your taste. Give it a good mix.
7. Now add previously fried bindi/ okra to it. Saute it for 2 minutes. Make sure bhindi's are coated well with the masala.
8. Add water according to the consistency you want.
9. Cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes over medium low flame.
10. After 5 minutes the bhindi fry is ready to serve.
HOW TO MAKE:
