1. Take a normal perforated spoon and cover backside of the spoon by using silver or any plastic paper. Use small hole perforated spoon if you have. Follow this procedure if haven't.
2. Firstly make holes by using needle or safety pins, then enlarge little by using a toothpick. If you directly start making holes using toothpick paper starts tearing.
3. It should be very small. Keep it aside.
4. Take a mixing bowl, add a cup of gram flour. Start adding water slowly and beat well. Make sure it doesn't have any lumps. Prepare the thin batter.
5. Heat oil in a pan for deep fry. Hold the perforated spoon in the centre of the pan. start pouring batter slowly.
6. Spread the batter in a circular shape.
6. Fry it for a minute that it is enough. otherwise, boondi turns into brown colour.
7. Boil a cup of water in a pan, then add 3/4th cup of sugar.
8. When sugar completely dissolves. then add half lemon juice. It stops crystallization of the sugar syrup.
9. add the food colour of your choice. Usually, people add orange or yellow. here I am using orange food colour.
10. Now add previously fried boondi to the sugar syrup.
11. Mix well and cover the lid and cook for a minute. Then turn off the stove and rest it for 15 minutes.
12. After 15 minutes, prepare laddus.
Lastly, garnish it with sliced almonds.
