INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
- 3 Tablespoons of Ghee
- 3/4th Cup of Maida
- 1 Teaspoon Cardamom powder
- 3/4th Cup of Powdered Sugar
QUICK LOOK OF RECIPE:
- Heat ghee in a pan, add maida, cardamom powder and saute for 5 minutes.
- Transfer them into a bowl, add powdered sugar and prepare a thick batter.
- Grease square shape box, fill it with batter
- Refrigerate for 20 to 30 minutes
- After 30 minutes remould and cut into pieces.
HOW TO MAKE:
(STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE WITH PHOTOS)
1. Heat 3 tablespoons of ghee in a wide pan over low flame.
2. When ghee completely melts, gradually add Maida flour.
3. Add Cardamom powder. Stir continuously over low flame for about 10 minutes, make sure the raw smell of the flour vanishes.
4. Turn off the flame and immediately transfer the mixture into a bowl.
5. Gradually add powdered sugar and keep on stirring.
6. Sugar starts melting when it is perfectly mixed with the hot Maida ghee mixture. Mix till you get a soft textured dough.
7. Take any vessel like the shape you want sweet to make, grease it with ghee/ butter/ oil. So that sweet will come easily while remoulding.
8. Pour sweet dough into the square box, tap for 30 seconds so the air bubble gets removed. And level it up by using a spatula.
9. Refrigerate it for about 30 minutes.
10. After 30 minutes, place the square box upside down and tap for a minute.
11. Cut into pieces and enjoy the recipe.
