INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:

FOR DOUGH:
  • 1 cup of Gram flour
  • 1/4th cup of Rice flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1/4th Teaspoon Hing
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Turmeric powder
  • 2 Tablespoons of Hot oil
OTHER INGREDIENTS
  • Oil for deep fry
  • 2 Tablespoons of Fried peanuts
  • 2 Tablespoons of Fried Roasted chana
  • 1 String Fried Curry leaves
  • 2 Tablespoons of fried Cashews & Almonds
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • Salt as per your taste

QUICK LOOK OF RECIPE:

  • Add gram flour, rice flour, red chilli powder, hing, turmeric powder, hot oil and salt in a mixing bowl.
  • Add enough water and prepare a soft dough.
  • Fill the mould with dough and press slightly to hot oil in a pan 
  • deep fry it for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add fried mixture, peanuts, roasted chana, cashews, curry leaves and give it a good mix.
  • store it in an airtight container and serve whenever you want.

HOW TO MAKE:

(STEP BY STEP PROCEDURE WITH PHOTOS)

1. Add Gram flour, rice flour, hing, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt as per your taste.


2. Add hot oil and mix well. Add enough water and prepare soft and little sticky dough.


3. Grease the chakli mould. Take medium size dough and put it inside the mould.


4. Press it in a circular motion, and deep fry it in hot oil.


5. Fry it on both sides. 


6. Take a mixing bowl, add fried Khara and break into pieces, also add fried peanuts, curry leaves, Khara boondi, roasted chana, red chilli powder, cashews, almonds and salt.


7. Give it a good mix. Store it in an airtight container and serve whenever you want.
